AI?

So much AI around. How do you deal with it? I remember when the computer came along and artists were able to create beautiful water color painting all digitally. People first said "it is not really art if you didn't create it by hand." But now doing work digitally is almost the norm (at least for freelance artists who have to send art to publishers), and most people do consider it creating art. But writing is another beast. I just can't see how AI can generate the words and feelings needed for a book. I think this is especially true for writers like me who work mostly in picture and early chapter books. Every word counts and I spend so much time editing and refining. Who knows what will happen. In the mean time, I am happy sitting at my computer, looking out the window and seeing what will inspire a new story.
